There are special edition comic books, special edition magazines—seems like a special edition serves as a consumer magnet. Why? “Special Editions give consumers an opportunity to buy something outside of mainstream trim designation,” says Karl Brauer, senior director, automotive industry insights, Kelley Blue Book. “This lets them spend a little more for a unique model, one that often provides a higher resale value when it’s time to sell or trade the vehicle for their next purchase.” So, it is exciting to hear that Chevrolet has just announced that the Equinox and Traverse SUVs are joining the ranks of Special Editions.
Special editions are popular with automobile purchasers. Chevy trucks that are Special Editions sell three times faster than other Chevy trucks on the market. The demographic that loves Special Editions the most are young and shop upscale.

The Renegade has been painted Volcano Sand, coinciding with the bold style of the 17-inch alloy wheels, and gray-finished roof bar and fog light frames. Under the hood lies a 2.0-liter diesel engine that delivers 140 horsepower. The Active Drive 4×4 system gives the vehicle the capability to encounter multiple terrains. The cabin offers a UConnect display, exclusive upholstery, and rear parking sensors. The Cherokee offers 18-inch wheels, as well as an option of several paintjobs. The cabin is fitted with a nine-speaker system, two-zone climate control, electric tailgate, and the UConnect display. The Cherokee delivers 185 horsepower through its turbocharged 2.2-liter diesel engine. Pine Belt Chrylser-Jeep in Lakewood wants to inform customers that the Night Eagle editions will go on sale later this year and jump on the offers since there will be a limited number of units produced.
