A Lot To Love About Our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek

The new year brought Pine Belt Subaru an updated Crosstrek. Our Subaru dealer NJ says goodbye to the Hybrid and hello to the 2.0i Premium Special Edition. Some things to highlight in the new trim level include rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and ambient cabin lighting. Let’s take a closer look into the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek.

The Good Stuff

Our Crosstrek is great for the outdoorsy type who isn’t interested in a truck or bigger SUV. It’s also a great choice living in Lakewood come the snowy, slippery, winter months. Pine Belt Subaru calls it the more rugged version of our Impreza but it has a higher ground clearance, trail-ready styling, and beefed-up suspension. A manual transmission choice lets you command your own gear changes, which is super fun. The 2017 offers a lot of great standard features including a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine, roomy cargo and interior areas and all-wheel drive.

The Model We Recommend

You can probably guess which one Pine Belt Subaru suggests. It’s the new 2.0i Premium. But we’re going to recommend upgrading the touchscreen for the infotainment package and adding the EyeSight safety system. It’s definitely a lot to handle so make sure you’re ready for a manual transmission. This model gives you the most flexibility when it comes to features. The infotainment systems offer voice controls, you get heated front seats and we love the upgraded speakers to kick up the base.

Trek Into Pine Belt Subaru

We know, this sounds tempting. That’s why you should trek on into our Lakewood car dealers to test drive the 2017 Crosstrek. While you’re here at Pine Belt Subaru, we suggest browsing our other new and preowned Subaru vehicles. If the Crosstrek doesn’t tickle your fancy, we’re confident there’s something else here that will make your eyes sparkle.

Subaru Assures that Drivers are Aware of their Blind Spot

Subaru is constantly looking for better ways to keep the occupants of its vehicles as safe as possible. It has announced that there have been several upgrades to the Eyesight safety system that will be present in the upcoming 2016 Subaru Outback. This system is set in place to reduce the risk of an accident or minimize its severity if an accident does occur. The radar system will now allow for detection of the Outback’s rear side. The company knows that drivers who do not pay attention to their blind spot are at a greater risk of an accident. The blind spot detection, lane change assist, and rear cross traffic alert work together to assure that the driver is safe and the conditions are adequate for a person to maneuver into a different lane. The 2016 Subaru Outback will be available at Pine Belt Subaru in the near future.
