Pine Belt 2 Subaru Unveils Two Concept Vehicles at Tokyo Motor Show

Subaru unveiled two concept cars at the recent Tokyo Motor Show. Both show the new direction of the company’s design language: “Dynamic & Solid Subaru.” The Impreza 5-door concept has a softer rear end than previous models and a sharp line stretches from the front fender to the rear shoulder. The vehicle will offer more luxury than ever before. The second concept car, the Viziv compact crossover, embodies the same design language. Although the car will not be making it to the production lines, components of the vehicle will be utilized in future vehicles. The Viziv is equipped with a reengineered version of the EyeSight stereo camera system. The system gathers vital information using all-direction radar, advanced GPS, and map data to accurately isolate the vehicle’s location in order to semi-autonomously drive the concept. This enhanced EyeSight system will also have the capability to park itself. Under the hood lies the new generation electric motor connected to a turbo engine. Subaru has a goal of introducing an autonomous vehicle by 2020. If you have not yet seen these concept vehicles, Pine Belt Subaru in Lakewood urges you to check them out online. For now, we do have great Subaru Impreza models in our inventory, so do not hesitate to contact us and test drive one right away.
