Itā€™s almost time for the 35th Annual Charity Renaissance Faire hosted by The Lakewood Lions Club & The Society for Creative Anachronism. Never been? About The Event

Ye Lords and Ladies, take a step back in time with Pine Belt Chevrolet, Pine Belt Subaru and Pine Belt Chrysler-Jeep to enjoy a magical weekend where dragons, knights, fairies and pirates play. This is the largest event of its kind where people of the modern day can see a little into the world of a 16th Century European Country Faire. Thereā€™s a marketplace, costumed characters, archery and of course the awe-inspiring full contact, armored jousting tournaments. Youā€™ll even get to feast like Royalty on fish ā€˜n chips, dragon dogs, funnel cakes, cheese steaks and turkey legs.

 

The Little Details

The event is located at Pine Park at 500 Country Club Drive. Just a quick horse trot from Pine Belt Chevrolet, Pine Belt Subaru and Pine Belt Chrysler-Jeep. Advanced ticket prices for adults are $12 and children $2. Active military, senior and student tickets are $8. Make sure to check their website to download and print discount coupons!

 

Have Fun For A Great Cause

The Club is using this event as the main fundraiser this year. All proceeds will go to support charitable causes like college scholarships for high school seniors, eye exams and glasses for the needy and toward the Lehman School.
