Jeep SRT Hellcat review- Part 3

Jeep Hellcat Release Date

This is the final part of the review for the Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk. Please read the first 2 parts to find out about its build and engine.

These details are yet to be released but rumors suggest that the 2017 Hellcat will be around $65,000 – $80,000. The price does a bit steep for an SUV but considering that it has 707 hp and is one of most powerful and street-legal SUV, it seems worth it. Not to mention that their competitors offer 150 hp less but have prices around $100,000.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk faces competition from the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The Range Rover comes with a 5.0L, V-8 engine that has 550 hp. It’s the fastest SUV released from Land Rover and can hit 60mph in 4,5 seconds. It comes with impressive handling and has recorded an impressive time of 8 minutes and 14 seconds on the Nurburgring track.

The Cayenne is currently setting the standards for SUV performance with it’s 4.8L V8 engine and 550 pounds of twist. It handles like a sports car and has better 60mph time than the Range Rover at 4.1 seconds. It also has a greater top speed at 173mph.

Both these cars make for great driving but are at least $30,000 more expensive than the Hellcat. They also have lesser horsepower and a higher 60mph time. With all this in mind, the Hellcat looks like a steal.

You can check out other competitors and see for yourself, which one is better by dropping down to the Pine Belt showroom.
