A video was recently released by Chevrolet Europe, showcasing the C7 Corvette GT3-R racecar being tested at Hockenheimring in Germany by Callaway Cars. Drivers activate the feature by pushing a button on the steering wheel. Once activated, the twin-turbocharged 2.2-liter Chevrolet/Ilmor V-6 engine will offer a brief moment of increased boost pressure from 150 kPa to 165 kPa when attempting a pass during the race. Last year the horsepower increased by 20 ponies when the feature was activated, but 60 additional horsepower will be available for the upcoming racing season. Construction the new Subaru of America headquarters has recently commenced in Camden, New Jersey. The heart of the automaker’s U.S. operations will now be located in close proximity to the headquarters of the Campbell Soup Company. The automaker has invested $118 million into this new campus that is going to comprise of one 250,000 square-foot main facility and an 83,000 square-foot training facility. Doubling the size of the previous headquarters opens up enough capacity for over 600 employees.
